Explore Yorkshire Dales on foot
Twenty walks provide an inviting way into the Yorkshire Dales, following classic valleys, waterfalls, limestone country, villages and moorland edges across one of England’s great upland landscapes.
Sedbergh, Dentdale, Ingleton, Clapham, Settle, Malham, Swaledale, Reeth, Hardraw, Aysgarth Falls, Upper Wharfedale, Kettlewell, Burnsall and Bolton Abbey all feature. The routes keep distances manageable while still capturing the Dales’ characteristic mix of high moors, stone-built settlements, rivers and limestone scenery.
Each walk provides clear route directions together with mapping, photographs and practical information to help plan the outing.
