Explore West Yorkshire on foot
Twenty walks uncover the dramatic contrasts of West Yorkshire, where Pennine moorland, wooded cloughs, reservoirs and old packhorse routes rise immediately beyond towns shaped by the textile and canal age.
The collection includes Haworth, Heptonstall, Todmorden, Marsden, Digley Reservoir, Holmfirth, Saltaire, Bingley, Ilkley, Otley Chevin and Harewood. Industrial history forms part of the landscape rather than overwhelming it: mills, canals and old transport routes sit alongside rough pasture, gritstone crags, valleys and open moor.
Each walk provides clear route directions together with mapping, photographs and practical information to help plan the outing.
