Twenty walks lead through the varied landscapes of West Sussex, from Chichester and the coast to the villages, woodland and rolling chalk hills of the South Downs and Sussex Weald.
Chichester, Petworth, Steyning, Singleton, Burpham, Slindon, West Itchenor and the Arun Valley are among the places explored. The authors’ emphasis is on discovering rural Sussex by footpath: historic settlements, quiet lanes, downland and river country that are often missed when travelling by road.
