Twenty generally easy walks explore Suffolk’s woods, heaths, historic towns, river valleys and coast, making good use of a county whose gentle terrain is particularly well suited to relaxed walking.
Routes include Bury St Edmunds, Dedham Vale, Dunwich Forest, Lavenham, Minsmere, Southwold Harbour, Sudbury and the Stour, Sutton Hoo and West Stow. Natural landscapes and wildlife sit alongside medieval villages, archaeological sites and the county’s long East Anglian history.
