Explore Somerset on foot
Twenty walks capture Somerset’s exceptional variety, from Exmoor and the Quantocks to the Levels, Mendips, historic towns, canals, castles, prehistoric monuments and the elegant streets and countryside around Bath.
The routes include the Lorna Doone Valley, Dunster Castle, Kilve, Glastonbury Tor, Brean Down, Bath, Stanton Drew, Wells, Wookey Hole and King Alfred’s Tower. Coast, hills, rivers and historic landscapes are woven together with Somerset’s legends and heritage, giving a particularly broad choice of outings across the county.
Each walk provides clear route directions together with mapping, photographs and practical information to help plan the outing.
