Explore Scottish Borders on foot
Twenty short walks explore the Scottish Borders through its abbeys, castles, historic towns, wooded valleys and rugged coast, bringing centuries of border history and literature into a highly varied collection of routes.
Walks include St Abb’s Head, Coldingham Priory, Eyemouth, Kelso, Jedburgh, Melrose, Bowhill, Peebles and the John Buchan Trail at Broughton. Roman remains, ruined abbeys, battles, poets and writers all feature, while the landscapes range from dramatic sea cliffs to gentle riverside and forest walking.
