Explore North East Wales on foot
Twenty simple, short walks make North East Wales particularly approachable for families and occasional walkers, with almost every route centred on a beauty spot or feature of interest such as a castle, waterfall, abbey, beach, mountain or stately home.
The walks include Dyserth Waterfall, Talacre, Moel Famau, Loggerheads, Llyn Brenig, Valle Crucis Abbey, Llangollen, Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, Erddig, Chirk Castle and Pistyll Rhaeadr. None is longer than six miles, route maps and instructions are deliberately clear, and the author gives special thought to keeping children interested along the way.
Each walk provides clear route directions together with mapping, photographs and practical information to help plan the outing.
