Twenty easy and moderate walks explore north Lancashire from Morecambe Bay and the Fylde coast to the Lune and Ribble valleys, Forest of Bowland and a chain of attractive stone-built villages and small towns.
Routes include Silverdale, Hornby and Wray, Morecambe, Abbeystead, Slaidburn, Clitheroe, Hurst Green, Beacon Fell, Garstang, Fleetwood and Lytham. The guide makes the most of Lancashire’s Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, nature reserves, estuaries and moorland while keeping the routes well suited to the Walks for All Ages format.
